The fourth JNVE conference is approaching! During this conference, young fundamental and clinical participants with interest in Endocrinology will again get the chance to present their research on the basis of their submitted abstracts or to present clinical case reports. Furthermore, there is plenty of room for discussion. 

This JNVE conference will again take place at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Leiden at October 26 and 27. The conference will offer a varied programme with a workshop on how to give a talk with impact (prof. dr. Baptist Trimbos, LUMC) and furthermore several talks by renowned Dutch senior researchers that do research on psycho-neuro-endocrinology of stress (prof. dr. Ron de Kloet, LACDR Leiden), doping in sport (dr. Pim de Ronde, Spaarnegasthuis Haarlem) and regulation of bone metabolism (dr. Annegreet Veldhuis-Vlug, AMC). Furthermore, this year's foreign guest speaker is dr. Carmelo Quarto (HelmhotzZentrum München, Germany), with his talk 'Endocannabinoids, their receptors and metabolism'. Furthermore, there will be sessions on metabolism including brown fat, thyroid and lipid metabolism, obesity, diabetes, (neuro)endocrine tumors and a session with case reports! 

During this meeting, the JNVE Award will again be award to the best young speaker. This Award consists of €250 and a certificate. Registration costs are €110 (and €160 for non-NVE members). This is including diner and social evening programme. When you wish to sleep at the hotel, registration costs are €160 (and €210 for non-NVE members). We have a discount for master students ( €75 for participation in full conference).

Abstract submission
The abstract submission deadline is September 12, 2017. Please find below the formats for 'regular' abstracts and 'case report' abstracts. Abstracts can be submitted to jnve@nve.nl
